What Is Your Favorite Golf Driving Tip?
I dont know if this would be considered my favorite golf driving tip, but it is one of the most interesting ones I have seen recently. It is a drill to help build the muscles used in driving the golf ball by using a fairly common household item.Take a look for yourself, but dont get swept away (pun intended).
A little bit strange, but it may turn out to be very effective. One thing you will need is a back yard big enough to swing that long broom. I would not feel comfortable taking it to my local driving range. So hopefully, you have a large enough back yard and a tall enough privacy fence.
I have been working on making a wider arc with my driver swing. It looks like this golf driving tip or drill may help me with that. I think the length and weight of the broom would make it difficult not to extend the length of the backswing and the follow-through too.
One thing that the person giving this golf driving tip said that I have to think about a little more is making that first move with your left knee going toward the target. I tend to have a problem with my lower body getting too loose. This causes me to have too much lateral movement. Focusing on moving my left knee toward the target might cause that to happen more in my golf swing. I know the transition into the downswing is supposed to begin from the ground up. The best swing thought that helps me with this is to step down or just apply downward pressure with my left foot. Oh well, to each his own.
